Malk Organics: Raw on the Road or When Time is Limited

Image
Something for all who drink almond milk have been waiting for...an organic, additive-free, almond milk at the store.  We carry our blenders on vacation, but rarely do we use it for making almond milk.    MALK Organics makes a vegan's life a lot easier by offering a product that taste like your own homemade almond milk.  What more can we ask for?  Oh, I know, unique flavors and other types of nut milks...and they have them.  They are available at several health food stores now, and I am asking my natural grocer to bring them in as well.  Great on the road and when we are under time constraints, which for most is every day.  I love when life gets a little easier.  http://malkorganics.com/ All image rights reserved by Malk Organics.

Epilepsy and the Ketogenic Diet: A Mini History

Image
There are so many ideas on eating a healthy diet that I like to provide a glimpse into all types of concepts and options available.  The Ketogenic Diet is a hot topic with its roots in the treatment of certain types of epilepsy.  On his blog, Robb Wolf, provides a mini history of the use of a Ketogenic Diet on patients suffering with epilepsy.  It is a good read to add to your dietary information arsenal.   Links to Part I & II below: Image via Robb Wolf website http://robbwolf.com/2015/09/24/the-origin-and-future-of-the-ketogenic-diet-part-1/ http://robbwolf.com/2015/09/30/the-origin-and-future-of-the-ketogenic-diet-part-2/
